Platforms · Databricks
Databricks consultants for the platform, the pipelines and the morning after.
Most of the Databricks work we inherit runs beautifully in a notebook and nowhere else. We land your sources in Delta, take notebooks to production, and look after the jobs, the permissions and the cluster bill from there.
What we connect it to
- + your stack
If it has an API, we can connect it.
What we do
The three services, on Databricks.
-
Land source systems in Delta without a nightly surprise
One table or the whole estate: Salesforce, NetSuite and the operational databases landing in Databricks reliably, fresh for the morning dashboards, with no duplicates and nothing patched by hand inside a report.
-
From an hour in a notebook to jobs that run themselves
Some weeks that is pairing on a notebook for an hour. Some quarters it is taking that notebook all the way to tested jobs that run themselves and raise a hand when something fails. Either way Unity Catalog keeps who-can-see-what in order, and the layout is something a new engineer can read without a tour.
-
Own the jobs, the grants and the cluster bill
Failed runs nobody sees, all-purpose clusters left running overnight, privileges granted to people rather than groups until nobody can say who reads what. We put eyes on the workflows, size the compute against what the job needs, and stay on hand for the morning the dashboard comes up blank.
The everyday work
Not everything is a project.
Problems like these come up in every system, and not all of them are even problems. Some are an hour of advice, or writing down how something works before the person who built it leaves. Most take us minutes or hours, and you do not need a project with us, just send them over.
Fixes
- A job that failed overnight and blocked the morning dashboards
- A cluster that ran all weekend for nobody
- A grant that locks out the one analyst who needs the table
- A sync that started writing duplicate rows
Documentation
- The workspace documented while its author is still around
- Runbooks for jobs, grants and the morning checks
- A map of which tables feed which dashboards
Advice
- A second opinion on platform architecture or a quote
- Whether a workload belongs on Databricks at all
- An hour on Unity Catalog design before you migrate
Proof
Patterns we have already delivered.
Anonymised accounts of work our principals delivered in previous roles. These are the patterns that come up on Databricks in nearly every scoping call.

Common questions
What buyers ask before they call us.
How does a Databricks engagement usually start?
If you already know what needs building, we start straight away. If something is failing today, jobs, pipelines or a climbing bill, we can step in within days. And if the fix is not clear yet, we can run a two to three week discovery that maps your sources, catalog and workspaces, and you keep the blueprint whether or not we do the build.
Can you take over a Databricks workspace someone else built?
Yes, and often that is the ask. Notebooks that never became jobs, tables sitting outside Unity Catalog, clusters nobody switched off. We learn what runs today, write it down, bring it under control, and only then change behaviour.
How is the work priced?
By engagement rather than from a rate card. A discovery is a fixed fee for a time-boxed piece of work. A scoped delivery has a fixed shape and a fixed price agreed at the start, so the number does not move as we go.
Are your Databricks people certified?
Yes. The team holds active Databricks certifications and uses them on real deliveries, including the governance and Genie side of it. We are not sponsored by any vendor, so what we recommend earns us nothing beyond the engagement.
Do you only take on project work?
No. A steady share of the week is small: a broken automation, a question that needs an experienced answer, documentation nobody ever wrote, or plain advice before you commit to something bigger. Most of those are minutes or hours, not days, and they get the same care whether you run a two-person business or an enterprise team. When one turns out to be bigger than it looked, you already know who is holding it.
